School Committee Election Could Be A Six-Person Race
One candidate takes out nomination papers for three different offices.

Just when it looked like the Board of Selectmen race might be the most interesting in the upcoming Municipal Election, the School Committee now looks as thought it ready to take center stage.
Three additional potential candidates --Jennifer DeFeo, Jennifer Spear and Donna Leone -- took out nomination papers this week, joining Kathleen Carroll, Julie Broussard and incumbent Margaret Kane. This creates the potential for a six-way race (or more) for three seats on the committee.
DeFeo employed the interesting strategy of taking out nomination papers for Housing Authority and Shawsheen Tech School Committee, in addition to the Wilmington School Committee. While it's unlikely she would run for all three seats, there is no law forbidding it. She has not returned nomination papers for any of the offices yet.
