Shawsheen Technical High School Deemed Safe Despite Bomb Threat
Bomb threat dismissed at Shawsheen Tech, one of at least 10 schools on alert after threats in Massachusetts Monday.

BILLERICA, MA - Despite a bomb threat Monday morning, the Shawsheen Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School District is going forward with the school day as planned, after public safety officials dismissed the threat as "not credible."
It is one of at least ten schools responding to bomb threats around the state today.

According to the superintendent's office in Stoneham, where the high school also received a threat, a threatening robocall came in about 8:18 a.m. there and at nine other schools.
According to Shawsheen Tech's Twitter account, officials there worked with the Billerica Police Department to assess the threat and sweep the school. It later tweeted:
