Smoke Surrounds Wilmington Congregational Church
Police say the church is in no danger from a fire inside a trash truck, despite massive clouds of smoke.
WILMINGTON, MA — Crews are battling a fire near a Middlesex Avenue church, according to the Wilmington Police Department.
The fire in the parking lot of the Congregational Church in Wilmington appears to be in the bed of a trash collection truck. Police say the church building is not in danger.
No injuries were immediately reported.
