Town to Offer Free Income Tax Assistance for Seniors
The program begins Wednesday, Feb. 3and continues every Wednesday through April 13.

WILMINGTON, MA - Wilmington’s Department of Elderly Services will be providing free income tax assistance for seniors through the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) this tax season.
Wilmington residents ages 60 and older may schedule an appointment by calling the Buzzell Senior Center at 978-657- 7595.
The program begins Wednesday, Feb. 3 and continues every Wednesday through April 13 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Wilmington Town Hall.

All tax returns are prepared with computer accuracy and are electronically filed for rapid refunds. Clients should bring the following documents to their appointment:
- Current year’s tax information and last year’s tax return
- W-2 forms
- Social Security & pension information
- Tax forms sent by any and all financial institutions
- Property tax & water bills
Anyone in need of transportation should make arrangements when scheduling their appointment. Returns will also be prepared at the Reading Municipal Light Department Building (rear), located at 230 Ash St., Reading on a walk-in basis, with no appointment needed, on Saturday mornings from Feb 6 through April 9.
