Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
In celebrating first responders, we should not forget those individuals caring for our pets. Laurie Hayes, of Wilmington, has been part of a reduced staff working at a 24/7/365 day facility in Woburn, MA. Laurie is working a 3 p.m. to midnight shift at IVG (ETHOS) providing emergency care for our furry family members.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Laurie is a very caring and considerate individual with a great sense of humor.
