Wamesit Lanes Set to Open This Fall in Tewksbury
The 45,000 square foot entertainment facility is expected to bring up to 100 new jobs to the area.
Wamesit Lanes is set to open in Tewksbury this fall, almost a year after development of the site began.
Construction is ongoing. Wamesit Lanes is being built at the site of the former Motel Caswell, located at 450 Main St.
Life-long Tewksbury residents Don MacLaren Sr. and his son Donny MacLaren reached a purchase and sale agreement in May 2014 to buy the Motel Caswell property to build the 45,000-square foot entertainment facility, along with partners Steve Bourgeois and Eddie Sheehan Jr., also Tewksbury natives. It was reported they purchased the 5.8 acres of land where the Motel Caswell once sat for $2.1 million.
