WHS Seniors Foresyth And Mitchell Earn MVSA Academic Excellence Awards
Cameryn Foresyth and Owen Mitchell were nominated for the award by WPS officials. They received the honor at a May 17 luncheon.

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington High School seniors Cameryn Foresyth and Owen Mitchell have each received the Certificate of Academic Excellence from the Merrimack Valley Superintendents Association (MVSA).
The awards, which recognize work in the classroom and community, were presented at the MVSA's Academic Scholars Luncheon on May 17 at Lenzi's Restaurant in Dracut.
Two students from each of the MVSA member schools receive the award each year. Recipients are nominated by their district's superintendent.

Foresyth carries a 4.19-grade point average and has been involved in a number of extracurricular activities, including: DECA, Yearbook Club, National Honor Society, freshmen orientation tour, varsity soccer and varsity lacrosse.
Foresyth plans to attend UMass Amherst and major in business.

Mitchell, meanwhile, compiled a 4.15 GPA throughout his career, all while taking honors and advanced placement courses.
An avid golfer, Mitchell was a member of the WHS golf team. He also competed in track and field and tennis. Additionally, Mitchell has been an active member of the Rotary Club and DECA.
Mitchell plans to attend Boston College and major in business analytics.
