A long-duration storm is knocking on the door, but most local meteorologists expect snowfall in the Merrimack Valley to be limited.

The Merrimack Valley in for some wet weather Wednesday through Friday, according to local forecasts, but don't get out your snow shovels yet.
For Boston, the local weather teams aren't predicting very much snow. Instead, expect a lot of rain and maybe some heavy slushy snow in spots.
The Merrimack Valley, on the other hand, appears to be due for 3-5 inches of heavy wet snow.
