The event is sponsored by Junior WOW, the youth chapter of We're One Wilmington. Kids should bring their own basket and arrive on time.

WILMINGTON, MA — The junior division of We're One Wilmington (WOW) will be hosting the annual Town Wide Easter Egg Hunt for children of all ages this weekend.

The hunt is free and will take place at 2 p.m. sharp on Saturday on the Town Common. There also will be an appearance by the Easter Bunny.

Children are asked to bring their own basket or bag and reminded to arrive on time, because the eggs are scooped up quickly.

"The Easter egg hunt is a fun, free, family tradition and a great way to bring the children of our community together. It's a perfect activity to kick off the spring season," Pam Almeida, president of WOW, told Patch.

WOW was created with the mission of strengthening the community one good deed at a time.
