Wilmington High School Near 80% Vaccination Threshold
Superintendent Glenn Brand will provide an update on state health and safety guidance at the School Committee's Wednesday meeting.

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington High School was nearly 80 percent vaccinated as of Nov. 17, Superintendent Glenn Brand told the School Committee.
Both students and staff were 77 percent vaccinated, just short of the 80 percent threshold to request a waiver from the state mask mandate, Brand said.
The middle school had further to go, with 80 percent of staff vaccinated but just 40 percent of students. Children 5- to 11-years-old were not eligible for the vaccine until Nov. 3.
