Wilmington To Hold Coronavirus Vaccine Clinic Thursday

The free, no appointment necessary clinic will run from 4 to 7 p.m. in the parking lot next to Swain Green at the Town Common.

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Health Department is holding a coronavirus vaccine clinic Thursday.

Vaccines will be available to all aged 12 and up with no appointments needed.

The clinic will run from 4 to 7 p.m. in the parking lot next to Swain Green at the Town Common.

Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available. The clinic is open to all, not just Wilmington residents.

As of Thursday, about two-thirds of the town's population was at least partially vaccinated, with over three-quarters of those over 40 fully vaccinated. But less than half of 12- to 15-year-olds were fully vaccinated.

As of Monday, there were 33 active positives in town, with just over half, 17, being breakthrough cases among the vaccinated.
