Wilmington Horribles Parade Returning Oct. 24

The annual Halloween celebration was canceled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

WILMINGTON, MA — The annual Halloween Horribles Parade will return to Wilmington for its 53rd edition Oct. 24, the Recreation Department said.

The parade was canceled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic but is coming back this year.

The parade will leave from the Public Safety Building, 1 Adelaide Street, at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24. The parade will march to the high school cafeteria, 159 Church Street.

The parade is open to all Wilmington children in costume and free of charge.

"Trick-or-treat goodies galore will be waiting" at the high school, so children should make sure to bring their trick-or-treat bags.

In case of rain or other inclement weather, participants should go directly to the high school.
