WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Memorial Library is welcoming the summer season and kicking off its summer reading program with a Saturday morning concert at Swain Green.
Join musician Matt Heaton at 9:30 a.m. Saturday for a swinging summer concert that promises fun for the whole family. Heaton describes his sound as "surf, rockabilly, western swing and soul, delivered with a wry sense of humor and a sincere sense of fun."
The concert kicks off the library's 30-day summer reading program. This year's theme is "Read Beyond the Beaten Path," to encourage readers to pick up books they wouldn't normally choose.
