Wilmington Public Schools Announce Interim Superintendent Finalists
The Wilmington School Committee has announced three finalists for interim superintendent.
WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington School Committee announces three finalists for the position of Interim Superintendent of Wilmington Public Schools: Ms. Maureen Binienda, Interim Superintendent of Schools, Easthampton Public Schools, MA, Mr. Jared Fulgoni, Interim Superintendent of Schools, Regional School Unit #63, Holden Maine, and Dr. David Thomson, Interim Superintendent of Schools, Mashpee Public Schools, MA.
A Screening Committee met on several occasions from March 12, 2025, through April 3, 2025, to review applications and to interview candidates for the position of Interim Superintendent. Applicants represented a range of experiences and backgrounds. The Screening Committee reviewed all of the applications and subsequently selected a number of candidates who were invited to meet with the Screening Committee for a preliminary interview. Following the preliminary interviews the Screening Committee, during its meeting on April 3, 2025, voted to recommend the above candidates for further consideration by the Wilmington School Committee.

The School Committee will conduct interviews with the three finalists on April 8th and 9th, 2025, and determine next steps which, in addition to extensive reference checks, will include inviting the candidates to visit Wilmington Public Schools and meet with district leaders and key stakeholders.
