Wilmington To Remember 9/11 On 20th Anniversary Saturday
The town's ceremony remembering September 11, 2001 will take place at the high school Saturday morning.

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington residents will remember the victims of the 9/11 attacks Saturday in a ceremony at the high school.
The morning ceremony will take place on the 20th anniversary of the events that killed nearly 3,000 people, including over 200 from Massachusetts.

The ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. It will include:
- National Anthem - Wilmington High School Band
- Pledge of Allegiance - Angelyn Ciampa
- Invocation - Rev. Tom VanAntwerp, Grace Chapel
- Master of Ceremonies – Selectman Gregory Bendel
- Sergeant-at-Arms - USAF Retired, Major Rob Oliveri and USCG Retired, Henry Diorio
- Speakers:
- Senator Bruce Tarr
- Representative David Robertson
- Jeffrey Hull, Wilmington Town Manager
- Lilia Maselli, Chair of Wilmington Board of Selectmen
- Lou Cimaglia, Director, Wilmington Veterans’ Services
