Wilmington Road Work To Cause Traffic Restrictions, Lane Closures
The town announced a project will take place this week to improve a local intersection.
WILMINGTON, MA — MassDOT has announced traffic restrictions and periodic lane closures on Lowell Street (Route 129) from Bay Street to Woodland Avenue, from 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28 to 5 a.m. the following morning.
The closures are required for the completion of pavement milling activities.
This work is part of a $5.4 million Transportation Improvement Project at the Lowell (Route 129) and Woburn Street intersection. Work on this project is anticipated to be completed by early August 2026.
