Wilmington Seeks Applicants For Finance Committee Vacancy

WILMINGTON, MA — WIlmington is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the Finance Committee, which oversees a large portion of the town budget process.

Anyone interested can send a letter of interest or a completed application for appointment to the Finance Committee Appointing Committee, 121 Glen Road, Wilmington. The application is due at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 29.

The finance committee receives the town budget proposal from the selectmen and town manager, conducts hearings, analyzes the budget and presents a balanced budget to town meeting.
