Wilmington Senior Center Giving Tree Collecting Gift Cards
The Buzzell Senior Center asks donors to buy gift cards to local restaurants and grocery stores.
WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington's Buzzell Senior Center is again hosting its "Annual Giving Tree" this holiday season, the senior center said in its December newsletter.
This year, the senior center is asking anyone interested in donating to purchase gift cards to local grocery stores and restaurants that do take out or delivery.
The Senior Center suggested businesses including Market Basket, Lucci’s, Elia’s, Country Store and Dunkin Donuts.

The Giving Tree is accepting gift cards until Dec. 17.
"If you know of any elders who would benefit from some holiday cheer, please contact Terri Marciello, (tmarciello@wilmingtonma.gov) or Laura Pickett (lpickett@wilmingtonma.gov) at 978- 657-7595," the newsletter said. "All names are kept confidential. We thank you in advance for once again bringing the spirit of the holidays to those in need."
