Wilmington Takes Lead In Reading Rivalry Against Tewksbury
Wilmington came back from a 3,000-minute deficit to take its own 3,000-minute lead Monday.

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Memorial Library has taken the lead in the inaugural Reading Rivals competition with the Tewksbury Public Library, the Wilmington library said Monday.
Wilmington has logged 320,889 minutes since the challenge began Oct. 12, to Tewksbury's 317,188.
A week ago, Tewksbury held a 3,000-minute lead in the competition. A week prior, the two libraries were separated by just three minutes.

The competition will continue until Nov. 24, after which the "Reading Cup" will be awarded to the town that logged more minutes.

Residents of each town can register on Beanstack to read for their library Tewksbury or Wilmington. You can log hours spent reading on Beanstack.
Both libraries have weekly prizes for participating patrons.
