Wilmington Winter Parking Ban In Effect

Overnight on-street parking is prohibited in town from Dec. 1 to April 1.

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington's Winter Parking Ban is back in effect, the police department reminded residents recently.

The on-street overnight parking ban began Dec. 1 and will last until April 1.

Parking on the street is banned between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. each night. Violators face $50/day fines.

The parking ban is meant to keep streets clearing for snow plowing and ice removal.

The town is authorized to tow vehicles interfering with snow plowing and ice removal on public ways. Owners are responsible for the cost of removal and storage of their vehicles.
