Wilmington's Fourth of July Forecast: Rain or Shine?

With the Fourth of July weekend quickly approaching, there’s one thing on everyone’s mind -- the weather.
The good news is right now, the forecast is looking pretty good for July Fourth weekend with sunshine, blue skies and no rain in sight. According to the National Weather Service, Wilmington’s forecast is going to be ideal for cooking out and, of course, all the Fun on the Fourth activities slated for this year.

Here’s a look at the holiday weekend forecast:
- Friday, July 3: Plenty of sunshine is on tap for Friday with a high of 81. By evening expect partly cloudy skies before cloudy skies come in overnight with a low of 59.
- Saturday, July 4: Partly cloudy skies in the morning before becoming overcast Saturday afternoon with a high of 83. Saturday night there will be a few clouds from time to time with a low of 62.
- Sunday, July 5: A mix of sunshine and clouds with a high of 84. Expect partly cloudy skies Sunday night with a low of 62.
