Wilmington's Madison Ricci Helps Stevenson University Women's Ice Hockey Team Win Championship

WILMINGTON, MA - Madison Ricci, of Wilmington, is one of the Stevenson University women's ice hockey team players, who helped her team claim a Championship win.
The Mustangs defeated Endicott in double overtime with a score of 2-1, leading them to become this year's Colonial Hockey Conference champions.
Senior Sarah Modzelewski was chosen as the game's Most Valuable Player, after she reached her season-high of 44 saves. This is the second most saves in program history, falling behind her own season best of 50.

Seniors Modzelewski, Tori Emoff and Jessie Capanelli, along with sophomore Chelsea Blackburn, were named to the All-Tournament Team. Capanelli and Blackburn scored the two goals of the game, while Emoff had three successful blocked shots.
