Wilmington's Most Popular Dog Names Revealed

WILMINGTON, MA — The Town of Wilmington is reminding residents with pets that they must renew their dog registration before June 1 to avoid paying a $50 fine.

According to the town's website, it currently costs $25 to register a dog if it is spayed or neutered and $30 if it is not spayed or neutered.

But after the end of May, dog owners who have not registered their pets will be sent fines through the mail.

Pet owners can register their dog online. Officials said that if a dog's rabies vaccination has expired, the Town will need to see proof of a new vaccination. Dog owners can email a photo of the rabies certificate to dogregistration@wilmington.gov.

In reminding residents about the upcoming registration deadline, Town officials also revealed the 10 most popular dog names in Wilmington. They are:
