Your Wilmington Weather: Warmer Temperatures Return for the Weekend
Here's a look at what to expect with this weekend's weather.

After an unseasonably cold night Thursday with temperatures expected to dip into the 40s and 50s, the weekend weather, is looking warmer but some clouds will keep the sun from the sky through a good portion of the weekend.
Here’s a look at Wilmington’s weekend weather, according to the National Weather Service:
- Friday: A beautiful day is on tap Friday with mostly sunny skies and a high of 83. Partly cloudy skies will become overcast later Friday night. A stray shower or thunderstorm is also possible with a low of 62.
- Saturday: Cloudy overcast skies are the order of the day on Saturday with a high of 82. Expect a few clouds Saturday night with a low of 67.
- Sunday: The heat returns Sunday with a mix of sunshine and clouds and a high of 91. Sunday night brings partly cloudy skies with a low of 69.
Looking ahead to next week, thunderstorms and rain are expected to start the week, accompanied by hot, summer temperatures.
