• Muraco School project on the move as MSBA invites Winchester into next round (winchesternews.org) — Winchester has cleared a key hurdle for replacing or renovating Muraco Elementary, as the Massachusetts School Building Authority has invited the district into the crucial eligibility phase. Over the next several months, school leaders must form a building committee, document enrollment and facilities needs, and secure local support to keep the project on track for a potential 2030–31 opening.
   

• Winchester Select Board votes to offer town manager contract to Christopher Senior (winchesternews.org) — Winchester’s Select Board has voted 5–0 to offer a two-year town manager contract to former Cohasset manager Christopher Senior, with the second year contingent on a performance review after 9–12 months. The move aims to end months without a permanent town manager, address stalled reviews and negotiations, and manage a delicate leadership transition as interim officials prepare to cover duties in early January.
   

• Football Announces 21-Member Class of 2030 (gocrimson.com) — A standout linebacker from Winchester High School, Bryan Harrison, has committed to join Harvard’s 21-member football Class of 2030, representing one of four Massachusetts recruits. The announcement highlights his Middlesex League title, academic honors, and multi-sport background, alongside detailed bios of fellow incoming Crimson players from across the country.
