Winchester Artist Network's Reception Set for Saturday at Library

Here are five things to know for May 24-26 in the Winchester area:

1. Fundraiser: A Stoneham Marathon Victims Fundraiser is slated from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the Elks Club.

2. Art display: There will be a Winchester Artist Network artist reception from 2-5 p.m. Saturday at Winchester Public Library in the Small and Large Meeting Rooms, according to the library website.

3. Outdoor activity: The Friends of the Middlesex Fells Reservation will be having an introduction to spring ferns walk from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday starting at the Greenwood Park parking lot in Stoneham.

4. Beer tasting: Stoneham-based Redstone Liquors will be having a beer tasting at 4 p.m. Friday.

5. Live music: Live jazz will be performed at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Sushi Island in Wakefield.
