Winchester Football Loses Home Game to Arlington

The Sachems failed to overcome a first-half deficit as they dropped their third game of the season Saturday.

The Winchester Sachems football team fell to 1-3 on the season following a blowout loss to Arlington on Saturday afternoon at Knowlton Stadium.

Arlington quarterback Alec Coleman proved far too much for Winchester’s defense to handle. He tallied four touchdowns and 235 total yards, helping his school beat Winchester, 34-13.

The Sachems fell behind 21-3 at halftime and struggled to recover from the deficit in the second half. They did add a rushing touchdown late in the game to make the final score respectable.
