Electronics, Spare Tire Cover Reported Stolen

Featured Incident
On Tuesday, Jan. 7, an officer was met in the Woburn Police Department lobby by a woman who requested to file a report of stolen electronics.
According to the woman, on December 8 she placed an order through Fingerhut online, and it was said to have been delivered on December 19. The woman informed police that she contacted the company and they confirmed the delivery was made.
In total, items worth $509.17 were listed. Among them was a GPS, portable DVD player, portable karaoke machine and a blue backpack.
A formal larceny report was filed by police, and the resident was told to appeal the charges through her credit card company.
Additional Incident
On Tuesday, Jan. 7, around 12:15 p.m. an officer was called to West Cummings Park for a report of larceny.
Upon arrival, officers were met with the calling party who said that while parked outside West Cummings Park on Monday, the hard cover to her spare tire was stolen.
The estimated value of the hard cover is about $285. The woman was advised to contact her insurance company.
