Eleni's Restaurant To Open in Former Shallots Location

WOBURN, MA — A Winchester Greek and Mediterannean restaurant is coming to North Woburn.

Eleni Pleqi opened Eleni's Mediterannean Grill in Winchester in 2019 and is now working on bringing her food to Woburn, as first reported by Boston Restaurant Talk.

Pleqi signed a lease at 918 Main Street, the former home of Shallots, in December, and received a liquor license Jan. 27.

The new restaurant will serve Mediterannean food, have a full bar, and have a seating capacity of 104.

Shallots surrendered its liquor license after closing due to staff shortages last year, according to License Commission meeting minutes.
