5) I pity the fool who doesn't like this song!
On this day in 1982, the song "Eye of the Tiger" hit number one on the Billboard pop chart and held on for six weeks. Now fondly remembered as a cheesey, if not rocking, song by Survivor, the single catapulted Rocky III into movie history as one of those films with an inspiring scene set to music. The movie starred Sylvester Stallone as Rocky and Mr. T (of "I pity the fool!" fame) as his opponent. "Eye of the Tiger" was the only number one hit for Survivor.
