EMS Training Academy, at 600 West Cummings Park Suite 2200, will start an intensive EMT training course today that will continue through August 3rd. It isn't free, but could land you a new career. 4) In Case You Missed It: Woburn is among several communities that will be receiving money appropriated by the state to repave and improve roads in our city. .

 

5) Tennis Anyone?: On this day in 1877, Wimbledon was first hosted at the All England Croquet and Lawn Tennis Club in England. The first lawn tennis tournament had 21 men compete for a 25-guinea trophy. The men's singles competition was the only event held at the first year of the Wimbledon. Frank Hadow won the first championship defeating Spencer Gore.
