Sogno marked its long-awaited opening night near the Woburn/Winchester border last week.

WOBURN, MA — Woburn has a new Italian food destination in the form of Sogno, which opened last week.
The restaurant is located at 304 Cambridge Rd. in Woburn near the Woburn/Winchester line. It aims to serve authentic Italian cuisine alongside top notch wine and cocktail offerings at its in-house bar, as noted on its website.
“Sogno offers comfortable spaces where all feel welcome to come together around the table,” the restaurant says.

The Sogno name is drawn from the Italian word for “dream.” The restaurant itself is led by owner Ron Martignetti, with chef Jayson Maynard serving as Executive Chef.
Sogno spans a 300-seat space, according to at least one Sogno job listing, long drawing attention in town as work has moved forward over recent years. The Niemitz Design Group has handled much of the restaurant’s interior renovations.

Construction dates back to February of 2020, though COVID-19 caused some delays at the 304 Cambridge Rd. site.
Sogno offers a menu ranging from cicchetti, which are small bite-sized snacks, to full entrees. There is a slate of cocktails and a wide ranging batch of wine offerings.
Sogno officially opened on Wednesday of last week.
The restaurant is now open on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Sogno is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
