• Peabody firefighters graduate from Academy (peabodyweeklynews.com) — A Woburn firefighter, Danielle Crawford, earned the top student award in a recent Massachusetts Firefighting Academy recruit class that also included graduates from the Woburn Fire Department. The intensive 10-week program trains firefighters in everything from search and rescue to hazardous materials response, preparing them to protect communities across the state, including Woburn.
