• Hansen and Gnetz score as Team USA beats Czechia 9-1 (letsplayhockey.com) — Woburn native Courtney Kennedy guided Team USA’s Under-18 women to a dominant 9-1 win over Czechia, their second straight victory at the world championship. Kennedy praised her squad’s effort in back-to-back games as several American skaters, including Massachusetts standouts, piled up goals and assists to keep the U.S. undefeated heading into Tuesday’s matchup with Finland.
