Police: Home Invasion on Myrtle Street Last Night

The Woburn Police Department has provided the press with additional information from last night's home invasion on Myrtle Street.

According to police ot 9:23 p.m. on March 18 police responded to a Myrtle Street residence on a report of a home invasion.

There were four people in the residence. They said two unidentified men, both wearing black ski-masks and black gloves, came through the front door which was closed but not locked.

One suspect was described as 6-feet tall, about 200 pounds with a stocky build. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, jeans, a ski-mask and black gloves and was carrying a handgun with an orange color tip at the top of the barrel.

The other suspect was described as 5-foot 10-inches and 170 pounds with a skinny build. He was waring a black shirt, jeans, a black ski-mask and black gloves and was carrying a black club 2-3 feet in lenth that possibly had orange markings on it.

One of the victims said the first suspect held a gun to his head and demanded money and valuables.

Another victim said the other man struck him in the leg with the club.

A third person in the residence locked themselves in a bedroom until the men left.

After taking some money the suspects fled on foot down Myrtle Street. The only reported injury was a slight injury to one of the victim's legs from the club strike.

Woburn Police and the Massachusetts State Police K9 unit searched the area for the suspects but they were not located. 

One of the victims said there was a similar incident happened on March 8 when one unidentified man, with the same description as the man with the handgun, entered his residence with had a gray handgun and demanded money.
