POLICE LOG: Teen Removed From Mom's House

July 16 – At 7:25 p.m., police responded to a report of a disturbance at a Sylvanus Wood Lane residence. According to police, a teenager had become upset and was hitting the wall. The mother asked police to escort the teen off the property for the night.

July 16 –
At 2:32 p.m., police responded to a two-car accident at the Route 128 South off-ramp at Washington Street. According to police, one car was struck from behind by another. A pregnant driver was taken to Winchester Hospital as a precaution.
At 2:56 p.m., a Woburn man reported his wife was the victim of a healthcare telephone scam. According to police, a man called the woman and said he was from a benefits company and needed her checking account number for her to keep her benefits. Money was later withdrawn from the woman’s account without her permission.
At 2:58 p.m., A Woburn woman reported her credit card was stolen while she was in Burlington. Police stated the card was later used to purchase several hundred dollars worth of merchandise at various Burlington stores.
At 4:37 p.m., police were dispatched to a two-car accident at Commerce Way and Mishawum Road. According to police, one driver was issued a citation for failure to yield for an approaching motor vehicle.
