Registration Underway for 27th Annual Step Out for Hospice

Registration is underway for the 27th annual Step Out for Hospice walk/run on Sunday, Oct. 6, at the Irish American Club of Woburn, 147 Main St.

The benefit kicks off with a 1-Mile Fun Run for kids at 11:30 am, followed by a 3-mile walk at noon and 5-mile road race at 12:30 pm.

Funds raised will be dedicated to VNA Hospice & Palliative Care’s health care and supportive services for local residents facing terminal illnesses. The nonprofit’s visiting nurses, physicians, social workers, spiritual and bereavement counselors, aides, and trained volunteers enable patients to live with dignity and families to spend meaningful time together.

Preregister for the walk or road race for a discounted fee of $30 and receive priority access to a Step Out for Hospice sweatshirt at the event. Students may register for the Walk or Road Race for $15. The Fun Run is free; preregistration is appreciated. A virtual walk/run option is also available.

Participants are invited to enjoy the post-walk/run festivities, including live music by The Offramps, refreshments, raffle, silent auction, and more.
