Reminder: Voter Registration Deadline in Woburn Approaching
The deadline to register for voters in wards one and seven is next week.

The City of Woburn is reminding residents that the deadline to register for the municipal election for voters in Wards One and Seven is next week.
The deadline to register to vote in the Municipal Preliminary Election is Wednesday, Aug. 5 at 8 p.m., according to the City of Woburn. The election will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 25.
Residents can check online to see if they are registered or if they need to make a chance. Residents can register online, by downloading and filling out a form delivered to the City Clerk’s Office, or residents can find voter registration forms in many libraries, police stations and other public buildings. Additionally, residents can register to vote in any election office, which are generally in city and town clerks’ offices.

The Office of the City Clerk will be open until 8 p.m. on Aug. 5 to accommodate those registering to vote. Residents can also register at the Office of the City Clerk during regular hours of business, Monday through Wednesday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mail-in in voter registration cards have to be postmarked by Aug. 5.
