Sally's Apizza Coming To Woburn Village

WOBURN, MA — New Haven pizzeria Sally's Apizza is coming to Woburn Village, according to the mall's website.
The restaurant is listed as "coming soon" as a Woburn Village retailer, as first reported by Boston Restaurant Talk.

The news comes a day after Eater reported that the company was talking to Boston area developers, particularly about locations around Woburn.
Sally's is one of the "holy trinity" of New Haven pizza places, along with Frank Pepe's, which moved into the Boston area in 2015, and Modern.

Apizza is baked in coal-fired brick ovens and in its most basic form is topped with just tomato sauce and parmesan.
Sally's is currently in the process of expanding in Connecticut, with its first location out of New Haven in the works in Stamford.
