Summer Concert At Horn Pond Cancelled

Due to the forecast of inclement weather, has been cancelled.

The Pan Loco Steel Drum Band was scheduled to perform at 6 to 8 p.m. at , along the flat grassy area of Sturgis Street, known as Ice House Park. The concert was sponsored by Reading Cooperative Bank.

Although the temperature will stay above 80, the National Weather Service expects Woburn to have rain showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and into the evening.

The NWS has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Woburn and surrounding areas, warning that the storms could produce large gusts of wind and heavy rain.
