Pajamas, bubbles and songs—all this week!

Two more weeks of the summer reading program are left. Have you been keeping up with your reading, and bringing your tracker sheet in for stamps? We sure hope so, because you need to have at least four stamps to earn a certificate. Six stamps earns a special pass for a free child and half-price adult schooner ride out ofGloucester. Eight weeks of reading earns a gold medal on your certificate. 

Pajama Storytime featuring Mikayla Essigmann is Tuesday evening, August 7, at7:00 p.m. Come to the library in your pajamas, enjoy some snacks, and listen to some fun stories. This program is intended for ages 4 and up.

On Wednesday, August 8, from 10:30—11:30 am, the Children’s Room will host Bubble Blowing on the Library Lawn. All supplies, from bubble stuff to wands,  to a clean-up station will be provided. All ages are welcome. In the event of bad weather, this program will be canceelled.

On Thursday, August 9, from 9:30—10:00 a.m., BabySongs with James Lepler will be held outside, weather permitting, or in the Study Hall if it rains. This is a music and movement program especially for infants through age 5. Come sing and dance with James!
