Voter Deadline Looming For Woburn's Preliminary Election

The preliminary election on Sept. 10 will narrow the field of mayoral candidates from three to two.

WOBURN, MA — The Woburn City Clerks office will stay open until 8 p.m. Wednesday, which is the deadline to register to vote in the city's preliminary election on Sept. 10. Voters can also register online or by mail, providing their application is postmarked on Aug. 21.

In addition to Mayor Scott Galvin, first-time candidates Elizabeth Pedrini and Kerstin J. D. Lochrie are running for the city's top post. The top two vote getters in the preliminary election will face off in the general election on Nov. 5.
