Who Are Woburn's Top Money-Makers?

The city's annual Top 200 list of highest-paid public employees was recently released by the Human Resources department at .

According to the document, which was presented to the City Council, most of the highest-paid employees are police officers, with firefighters second. Public schools, City Hall, Department of Public Works and Retirement round out the list.

Gross salary, as listed above, includes an employee's base salary, plus any bonuses, overtime or paid incentives he or she might be entitled to through contracts. For a detailed explanation, records are available at City Hall. Investigations into the shootings of Officer John "Jack" Maguire and Officer Bob DeNapoli are included in the WPD gross salaries.
