Wild In Woburn To Feature Family Fun, Information About Park Projects

Hosted by the Mystic River Watershed Association and City of Woburn, the event will include a raffle, pizza, ice cream and presentations.

WOBURN, MA — The Mystic River Watershed Association and City of Woburn have announced they will be co-hosting a family event next month where attendees can have fun while learning more about new parks and habitat improvement.

Wild in Woburn is scheduled for 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 6 at Woburn Public Library, 45 Pleasant St.

According to organizers, the event will feature information about the new fish passage at Horn Pond, the improved open space and path network at Shaker Glen, and the redesign of Hurld Park.

Project teams will present details of each project at 6 p.m. inside the library, according to organizers.

From 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., the library lawn will be the site of family activities like: a raffle for prizes and gift cards, free pizza and an ice cream truck with free ice cream.
