Woburn Blizzard: Up To Two Feet Snow Predicted
Woburn could get 2 feet of snow Saturday, according to the latest National Weather Service forecast.

WOBURN, MA — Woburn will have a public street parking ban in place beginning midnight Friday and lasting until noon Sunday
The National Weather Service issued a blizzard warning for the region that will be in effect all day Saturday. The service forecasts 15 to 26 inches of snow in Woburn beginning late Friday.
In the area covered by the blizzard warning, winds could gust at 50 to 60 miles per hour and visibility may drop below one-quarter of a mile, the Weather Service said.

Parking ban
The parking ban begins at midnight Friday and lasts until noon Sunday. A list of municipal lots were residents can park is available here. Do not park in school parking lots, the city said.
City and school programs
All school and Recreation Department programs are canceled Saturday and Sunday.
Woburn Public Library
The library will be closed Saturday.
Fire hydrant and sidewalk clearance
The city is asked that able residents help with clearing the snow around hydrants and on sidewalks. The Fire Department asks for a three-foot clearance around hydrants. Sidewalks should be cleared with enough space for someone using a wheelchair, walker or stroller.
