Woburn City Council to Vote on Union Pay Raises
21 city employees are slated to receive a 10.5 percent pay increase.

The Woburn City Council will vote Tuesday on an appropriation to cover the costs of raises due to union workers, according to the Daily Times.
The Teamsters Union recently reached a four-year labor agreement with the City of Woburn. If the City Council votes to approve $117, 757 in allotted funds for the raises, 21 employees will receive a 10.5 percent pay increase.
The employees are made up of mostly department heads in nine City Hall offices.
