Woburn Coronavirus Stats: Cases Up, Positive Rate Level
The city's two-week average positive test rate remains above the state average, according to the latest Department of Public Health report.

WOBURN, MA — Woburn's positive coronavirus test rate remains above the state average but has stopped rising rapidly, according to the latest municipal-level data released by the Department of Public Health Thursday.
Over the last two weeks, 5.86 percent of Woburn tests were positive, above the statewide rate of 4.97 percent over the same period. Woburn's positive rate was 5.77 percent in the previous report.

The city had 304 cases in the last two weeks, or 52.3 daily cases per 100,000 residents.
The state also reported that Woburn reached 72.7 percent fully vaccinated, up from 71.3 percent in last week's report. Over 80 percent of residents have been at least partially vaccinated.
