Woburn Cross Country Plans 5K Fundraiser Race

WOBURN, MA — The Woburn Cross Country team will look to celebrate Woburn High School alumni next week with their first annual Woburn Alumni Cross Country Race.

The race is set for Sept. 1 at 6:30 p.m. at Horn Pond in Woburn. Registration is $20 per person and the event is open to everyone. A celebration with raffles will take place after the race at the Woburn Irish American Pub at 147 Main Street in Woburn.

Community members interested in joining the race can register ahead of time using an online form.

Runners can pay using a QR code linked to a Venmo account. Alternatively, runners can bring their $20 fee on the day of the race.

All proceeds will support the Woburn Cross Country program.
