Woburn Firefighter Passes The Test
A Woburn firefighter graduated the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy in Stow.

Woburn firefighter John M. Clegg can count himself among the alumni of the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy’s 226th class, according to a missive from the institution.
The 45-day program for new recruits took place in Stow, Mass., and also included students from departments in Acton, Arlington Centerville-Osterville-Marston Mills, Concord, Fitchburg, Needham, Norton, Tewksbury, West Springfield, Westford, and Westminster.

Like the other graduates, Clegg is now certified in the National Fire Protection Association’s 1001 national standards, and the Massachusetts Fire Training Council’s hazardous materials first responder operational level.
