A Woburn man was detained on a probation violation and $5,000 bail after Lynn Police arrested him Tuesday for a residential break-in.
Edgard Molina DeJesus, 38, of 5373 Prospect St., was arrested and charged Tuesday afternoon in Lynn with felony breaking and entering in the daytime, possessing a burglarious instrument, trespassing, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, according to a report in the Lynn Daily Item.

According to the report, Lynn Police responded to a witness's report of a man breaking into a Boston Street home in that city. After a brief chase, DeJesus was taken into custody.

DeJesus was held on $5,000 bail after his arraignment in Lynn District Court Wednesday. He will be in court next month for a pre-trial hearing.
